GO Falkland
GO Falkland brings together vital voices and organisations in Regenerative Farming and Forestry at Falkland Estate, Falkland, Fife. It aims to generate awareness, engagement and agency in people and organisations across Regenerative Land Use in Scotland. Led by farmers and those who work the land, we are here to co-design and work together towards a healthier and fairer future in Scotland’s food and farming systems.
This year’s event will be a 2-day gathering on the 17th and 18th July 2024, with a vibrant fringe of smaller venues and exhibitor spaces. local food and drinks, music and more. Headline speakers will be announced in Spring.
Go Falkland was seeded as an outreach event of Groundswell Festival, supporting its aims of facilitating partnerships and knowledge-sharing with farmers and educators. In this two-day course on Saturday and Sunday, March 16 and 17 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Dan Kittredge will provide an overview of the principles and practices of biological farming. Our goal is to build upon your knowledge and experience to find ways to increase the health of your soil and crops for greater yields, healthier produce and better marketability. Participation-based with questions and answers, the workshop is designed for farmers, growers, and gardeners of any type. Participants will grasp and apply innovative, reliable principles and practices for producing healthier, better tasting food crops. We will follow with a number of topics and themes related to helping plants achieve their full genetic potential through management of the environmental factors of soil, air, water, minerals and biodiversity.
